This year’s Komen Race for the Cure will once again take place at the home of the Redbirds in downtown Memphis. Anyone with a family member or friend who has struggled with breast cancer will be pleased to learn that this is the only race in the community that gives grants to local hospitals for mammograms and diagnostics.
The event kicks off at 7:45 a.m. on Oct. 27, with a group photo of all breast cancer survivors. The race starts at 9 a.m. and is followed by a survivor brunch at 10:15 a.m. Register here.
