It is never too late to learn another language – and national Hispanic Heritage Month is a great time to do so. Swing by the Whitehaven Library on Tuesdays (10 a.m.-12 p.m.) and Thursdays (5:30-6:15 p.m.) for a Spanish class designed for students with no familiarity with the language.
Start with the beginners’ group and work your way up to the advanced with gentle instruction designed to be inclusive and fun.
Step out of your comfort zone and learn the language spoken by the more than 53,000 Latinos who currently call Memphis home. ¡Puedes hacerlo!
