A new festival is coming to town this year combining two of Memphians’ greatest loves: chicken and beer.
The inaugural Memphis Chicken and Beer Festival will take place at the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium on Saturday, August 11, from 4-8PM. In addition to brews from 30+ breweries and chicken dishes from 15 restaurants, guests can enjoy yard games, inflatables and music from the ShotGunBillys, The Marcus Malone Band and Marcella & Her Lovers.
Tickets are $40 plus tax and include a souvenir tasting glass and all beverage samples. A portion of ticket sales benefit the Dorothy Day House in Memphis.
