Fans from across the country and around the world are dusting off their blue suede shoes in anticipation of this year’s Elvis Week, held at Graceland August 9-17.
The week-long festival – featuring live music performances, a 5K run and the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest – not only pays tribute to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll but also coincides with the 45th anniversary of his death.
Whether enjoying conversations with special guests (among them Priscilla Presley), or gathering in quiet remembrance of The King at the annual candlelight vigil, visitors can’t help falling in love with Memphis all over again.
