Although the Memphis Grizzlies missed the playoffs last season and won just 21 games, there are many reasons for fans to be hopeful for the team’s 2018-19 campaign. For one, guard Mike Conley, who missed all but 21 games last year, is finally healthy.
First-round draft pick Jaren Jackson, taken at No. 4 overall, will likely become an immediate contributor, especially on defense. Between Jackson and franchise player Marc Gasol, the Grizzlies should have plenty of size.
If everyone stays healthy, expect to see a different Grizzlies team this year, one that can compete for a playoff bid.
