Cameron Ellis, a 24-year-old Memphis entrepreneur, has already made his mark on the city’s residential real estate market. Now, he’s tackling his first multifamily projects and looking to appeal to a group he knows best: millennials.
Ellis saw a need for quality housing in Midtown and downtown for young, urban professionals who want to live, work and play in walkable neighborhoods with many dining and entertainment options.
His first project, located at 1368 Monroe Ave. in Midtown, will be an eight-unit luxury apartment complex on the site of the former Buccaneer Lounge, which was destroyed by fire.
