When Beale Street turns green

St. Patrick's Day parade

Memphis is known for the blues. But every year in March, Beale Street turns green. For the 46th straight year, the Silky O’Sullivan St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place in downtown Memphis. Come decked out in green for the city’s largest St. Patrick’s Day event.

This year’s parade, presented by the Beale Street Merchants Association, takes place Saturday, March 16, and will feature music, live dancers, floats and more. The festivities start at 3 p.m., and there is no cost to attend.

To sponsor a float or join the 2019 parade, submit an application through the Merchants Association.
