Brooks Museum Brings Tape Art to the Bluff City

by Michael Polzella

Who knew you could create art with tape? Find out at “Brooks Outside: Tape Art at the Brooks Museum of Art,” May 8-24.

Founders, Rhode Island-based Michael Townsend and Leah Smith, will lead the Tape Art Crew in the the mural-making process. Don’t miss these professionals use the outdoors as their canvas with just adhesive tape.

The temporary artwork will be on the museum plaza. A party for the removal process begins at 4PM, May 24. Music, art-making, food trucks and more will make it a perfect family outing. For more information or tickets, click here.
