Mid-South Church Hopes to Reverse Stigma With Free Men’s Health Event

Brown Missionary Baptist Church is partnering with Baptist Hospital to provide free health screenings for men at its Man Up Health Summit on Saturday, October 28, at 9:00 a.m.

“Not only is Brown committed to keeping our community spiritually healthy, we also want to keep it physically healthy,” said Bartholomew Orr, BMBC Pastor. “Putting off going to the doctor is easy to do, so we’re hoping this event encourages men to take control of their health.”

More than 500 men are expected to be in attendance. The event will take place at 980 Stateline Road East, Southaven, Mississippi.
