Indie Memphis is best known for the Indie Memphis Film Festival, but the nonprofit also hosts year-round programs to inspire, encourage and promote independent films and filmmaking in the Bluff City.
Indie Memphis hosts weekly Wednesday film screenings at Crosstown Arts, Malco’s Studio on the Square and Ridgeway Theatre on a rotating basis. Films focus on everything from blues music to writers to politics, and include both documentaries and fictional films. Admission to screenings ranges from pay-what-you-can to $10.
Also, on Monday, August 14, Indie Memphis will host a special panel discussion with local film producers.
