The Memphis Child Advocacy Center now has a network of more than 18,000 Shelby County adults prepared to protect kids from child sexual abuse.
Stewards of Children, an evidence-based prevention program, trains parents and adults who work or volunteer with children at organizations such as schools, medical centers, places of worship and after-school groups.
The next training will take place Saturday, July 22, 9-11:30AM. The 2.5-hour training includes facilitator-led discussions, interactive workbook activities, and powerful videos featuring experts, parents and adult survivors of abuse. Visit their website for additional dates and information.
