South Main Named One of America’s Most Stylish Streets

South Main Street in Memphis has been named one of the “Most Stylish Streets in America.”

Thrillist.com set out to find the “legendary blocks that are key to a city’s entire ethos,” and the first stop on the list is right in the heart of the Bluff City.

In addition to having fewer tourists than Beale Street, South Main Street has its own aesthetic. A visit evokes a main street straight out of 50’s America, complete with plenty of neon signage. The most Instagrammable place on South Main? They say the mural in front of the old Russell Hardware.
