A Memphis woman’s nearly three-hour commute was cut to 25 minutes, thanks to generous co-workers.
Linda Walton, who works for Pristine Clean and Organizational Services, previously had a commute that involved a two-hour bus ride to Cordova, followed by a 40-minute walk. Walton never complained, and many of her co-workers were not aware of the obstacles Walton overcame to earn her paycheck.
When Walton’s boss learned of her commute, she teamed up with co-workers to buy Walton a used car, new tires, oil change, one month of car insurance and $100 in gas cards.
