The Memphis Grizzlies had the No. 4 pick in this year’s NBA draft – their highest spot since 2009. Their selection? Michigan State’s Jaren Jackson, a gifted player with unlimited potential.
Sure, the 6-foot-11 star has doubters. As the youngest player in the draft at 18 years old, some question his readiness for the NBA.
But as an inside player, Jackson has skills that most “big men” can only dream about. He shoots 80 percent from the free throw line and has a fantastic outside shot. If he develops his game, Memphis could become a postseason team once again.
