Startup Junkie will host a Techstars Startup Weekend from March 9–11 to spark business development for aspiring entrepreneurs.
“At most of the ‘normal’ startup events there is a focus on mentoring, education, networking, raising capital, etc., which are all important aspects of growing a company,” said Michael Iseman of Startup Junkie. “What’s different about Startup Weekend is that each team actually starts a company in 54 hours. There’s less talking and more doing. Sometimes founders just need the push to take the first step and then they’re off to the races.”
