Dressing Vs. Stuffing: a Thanksgiving Showdown

Where do you stand … is it dressing or stuffing? This contentious topic pops up every year, and we want your input!

Folks are passionate about this Thanksgiving staple. Ask a Southerner and they’ll almost always tell you it’s dressing, while stuffing seems to be more of a Northern thing. Others base the name on preparation. Cook yours in the bird? Stuffing. Outside the bird? Dressing.

At my house, we always serve cornbread dressing. Anything with oysters, chestnuts or mushrooms is not welcome. What’s your preference? Drop us a line and let us know! We’ll be back with the winning answer.
