Eighty-five hard-working young people completed the district’s Summer Internship Program in mid-July. Arhum Qureshi, who’s about to start his senior year at White Station High, says he got involved with the Clovernook Center for the Visually Impaired because he wants to help people.
Ridgeway High School senior Carlesha Hubbard made quite an impression on her boss at N. H. Owens & Son Funeral Home, who says he’d be happy to have her back any time. Participating students put in 30 hours each week for six weeks.
