Memphians who want to avoid the malls should check out one of the many holiday artist markets in the city. Here are a few recommendations:
Holiday Bazaar at Memphis College of Art: Over 115 artists will sell paintings, prints, jewelry and more on Nov. 17.
WinterArts at Saddle Creek: Vendors sell handcrafted works in glass, metal and clay at this Germantown market, open from Nov. 24–Dec. 24.
Memphis Maker Holiday Market: Held at Muddy’s Bake Shop on Dec. 15, the event lets guests view over 20 booths, where artists sell handmade gifts. There will be food trucks on site.
