On Sunday, Jan. 14, Volunteer Memphis held its Sunday Supper at The Junior League of Memphis as part of the four-day MLK Days of Service Weekend.
Sunday Supper is a program of Points of Light, inspired by Dr. King’s vision of creating community across race, class and faith. The event encourages people to gather and discuss issues that affect their communities and families. These conversations can also foster racial and cultural understanding, promote unity and inspire people to further action.
Volunteer Memphis will hold another Sunday Supper in April. More event details are coming soon … stay tuned for updates!
