On Dec. 1, America’s most famous street will come alive with holiday spirit. The Memphis Holiday Parade, one of the biggest holiday events in the city, will feature several elementary and high school bands, along with dance groups, twirlers and floats.
The parade, which draws thousands of people each year, begins on Beale Street at 4 p.m. Once again, it coincides with the massive St. Jude Memphis Marathon, which occurs in the morning.
For runners and spectators, the Memphis Holiday Parade offers the perfect excuse to spend a day in downtown Memphis. Follow the parade’s Facebook page for updates.
