Help reimagine Overton Park with ‘Create Your Space’ campaign

The City of Memphis is calling anyone with a vision to submit proposals for the future of Overton Park. Anchor tenants in the park are leaving their current locations. Memphis College of Art is closing next summer, while Brooks Museum of Art will move downtown in 2024.

As for what happens to the buildings? That’s for Memphians to decide, thanks to the city’s “Create Your Space” campaign. The open call for submissions means anyone can send in ideas for new uses of the buildings.

A panel of community and civic leaders will review submissions, which are due by April 30.
