by The 100 Companies

After halting in-person performances in March 2020, Memphis performing arts company Playhouse on the Square unveiled details of their 53rd season with 14 new productions to be performed for live and virtual audiences.

Opening in July, the 2021-2022 season boasts four world premieres and five regional premieres of professional stage productions. The theatre will also revive favorites like “Little Shop of Horrors” and “Smokey Joe’s Café.”

One of the theatre’s annual fundraisers, “The Great Wine Performances,” also returns July 27. Tickets and more information are available on Playhouse on the Square’s website.
