Aside from a glitzy brand name, what qualifies a car as “luxury”? Power, looks, exotic wood inlays and heated everything?
If so, Mazda’s new range-topping “Signature” trims of the Mazda6, CX-5 and flagship CX-9 certainly qualify. The three-row CX-9 Signature rubs shoulders with the Lexus RX450 and Audi Q7, but edges out on value. The underdog Mazda offers much of the same practicality, comfort and driving pleasure of its two rivals for $10k less.
Unless you’re looking for a capable off-roader, the Mazda CX-9 deserves a spot on your three-row shopping list.
