Midtown is jam-packed with date-night spots. Here’s my pick for one sweet romantic outing.

Start early at Alchemy in Cooper-Young, where everything is half off during happy hour, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Start with a craft cocktail, like the basil gin smash for $5, and go for heavy appetizers like the truffle deviled eggs and charcuterie — both less than $10.

For dessert, scoot over to Sweet Noshings in Overton Square for candy, fudge or homemade ice cream. I recommend sharing scoops of the chocolate bourbon and Jack and honey with your own honey.
