Union Oyster House in Boston began serving food in 1826 and continues to this day. While there are a few older restaurants, none have stayed open and continued to serve diners as long as Union Oyster House.

The historic brick building is located on the Freedom Trail, near Faneuil Hall, and dates back to pre-Revolutionary days. Rich with history and seafood, this National Historic Landmark has welcomed presidents, actors and athletes. A favorite place for the Kennedys, you can dine in JFK’s favorite booth named in his honor.

While the menu has evolved, visitors can still enjoy their trademark oysters.
