Grammy Museum chose Cleveland for 2nd location

by The 100 Companies

When the Grammy board searched for the most appropriate location to build its first museum outside L.A., they could have chosen many places. Their verdict: Mississippi Delta.

With the world’s highest per capita rate of Grammy winners, eight percent of Hall of Fame winners, Mississippi – and particularly the Delta – is the origin of many of America’s great contributions to music. Cleveland is the region’s midpoint and adjacent to Delta State University’s Music Institute.

Tour rotating exhibits, put on headphones and immerse yourself in international Grammy winners, including Mississippians Elvis Presley, Jimmie Rodgers, John Lee Hooker, Sam Cooke and Muddy Waters.
