Signing Day isn’t just for athletes at Shelby County Schools. Whitehaven High School celebrated its winning scholars on the big stage at Academic Signing Day!
The school recently held its annual event highlighting students earning scholarships to attend college. This year, 293 seniors received more than $80 million in scholarships! Zariah Nolan is Whitehaven’s highest-earning Million-Dollar Scholar. She earned more than $9 million in scholarships and plans to attend Dillard University in New Orleans.
Academic Signing Day included inspirational speeches by former Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong and the superintendent of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Cassius Cash.
