SCS students donate day of pampering for cancer patients and survivors

Students at the Trezevant Career and Technology Center in Memphis rolled out the red carpet for cancer patients and survivors on Valentine’s Day during an event called “Pamper Me Pink.”

Guests were treated to complimentary haircuts and manicures, and the cooking class at Trezevant CTC catered the event.

Shelby County Schools Board Vice Chair Stephanie Love had tremendous praise for the students who participated.

“This is another example of how our youth in the Shelby County Schools system are giving back to those who may have struggled,” she said.

The students told C19TV that it felt good to give back.
