Celebrate Great Outdoors Month in Memphis

by The 100 Companies

Despite being synonymous with blues and Beale Street, many natural assets in Memphis are rife for exploring this month.

What better reason than “Great Outdoors Day — observed on June 11 — to hit the proverbial trail and enjoy sweeping views of the Delta region in the process.

From Big River Crossing (a.k.a. Harahan Bridge, which stakes a claim as the longest public pedestrian bridge spanning the Mississippi at a mile) to T.O. Fuller State Park (the city’s single state park, boasting over eight miles of walking trails), enjoy plenty of ways to hit the trail without getting off course.
