A house goal of mine is to make plants part of my décor, to create a houseplant oasis in my own home.
In Better Homes & Gardens, Hilton Carter, a plant and interior stylist and author, offers up six simple ways to fill your rooms with houseplants. Two of his recommendations that I’m drawn to are going vertical and tucking plants into unexpected spaces.
Carter also has a website, ThingsbyHC.com, where you can find his beautiful handmade propagation cradles, which can be mounted on a wall or placed on a table. These make great gifts for others or for yourself.
