Memphis nonprofit supports bus crash victims

by

Earlier this month, a horrific bus crash on Interstate 30 took one life and injured at least 40 more people. One Memphis organization is collecting money to support families impacted by the crash, including the parents of a local youth football team.

SchoolSeed, a nonprofit that supports public schools throughout the Greater Memphis region, has taken the initiative to set up a support fund. The goal is to raise $10,000 so the families of those in the accident can cover unplanned expenses. SchoolSeed has already raised thousands of dollars through the campaign, and anyone can donate until Jan. 30.
