This month, our country honors women who’ve made significant contributions to our society. We see images of icons like Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony and Oprah Winfrey.
Karen Brown may not be as well-known, but she’s just as extraordinary. She worked full-time while earning her bachelor’s degree and served two tours overseas in the U.S. Army, all while supporting her children and serving as PTA president.
Take time this Women’s History Month to thank all the woman who’ve used their strength to make a lasting impression on the next generation. I’m proud to call Karen my mom!
