April is Financial Literacy Month, and Memphis teens on the cusp of adulthood will have the opportunity to learn how to prepare for their financial futures at RISE Foundation’s Goal Card Financial Forum, Saturday, April 29, at First Baptist Church-Broad.
RISE is a nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of low-income Memphians through financial literacy programs. Goal Card, RISE’s youth program, teaches students how to set and achieve academic, financial and life goals.
Lessons teens will learn at the free financial forum will include budgeting, establishing credit, opening savings accounts and exploring ways to help pay for college.
