Swedish-based furniture retailer IKEA has finally opened its doors locally, two years after announcing the company would break ground in the Greater Memphis area. In its first week, thousands of guests flooded the new 210,000-square-foot store to check out its wide range of chic, affordable home furnishings.
IKEA Memphis provides customers with a layout of the store, signage detailing each showroom, and illuminated arrows on the main path to guide shoppers. The facility also features a play area, two bistros and a self-serve warehouse. Check out the video for a tour of the IKEA Memphis.
