In case you forgot to tune in, the Cooking Channel show “Cheap Eats” recently made its way to Memphis to cover the local dining scene. The “Rockin’ Deals in Memphis” episode, which premiered last Wednesday, followed host Ali Khan as he visited four Memphis restaurants to discover the city’s best dining deals – and with only 12 hours and $35. Here’s what he found:

• Smokehouse waffle (gluten-free) at Bedrock Market & Cafe: $6.50 for half

• Third period smoking birds sandwich at LUNCHBOXeats: $11

• Gooey butter cookie at Frost Bake Shop: $1.25

• Rainbow panang curry at Mosa Asian Bistro: $13
