Chef Josh Steiner’s restaurant, Strano by Chef Josh, officially reopened this month in East Memphis. The new space, formerly Jim’s Place, is three times the size of Strano’s former location – featuring three dining rooms, a patio, bar area, wooden walls and large glass windows.
The menu includes shareable, Sicilian-style plates as well as new Greek, Arab, Spanish and Northern African-inspired dishes. Steiner and his team make sure to use the freshest ingredients possible and grow what they can in the organic garden behind the restaurant.
The restaurant, which originally opened in 2014, serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.
