Regardless of how they serve, Memphians love to give back. On June 28, several individuals, corporations and nonprofits will be honored for their service at the Volunteer Memphis Awards.
This “thank you” event is held at the FedEx Event Center at Shelby Farms from 6-8 p.m. Sponsors include Kroger, Central BBQ and Volunteer Tennessee.
Nominees will be selected for several awards, including the millennial volunteer award and volunteer of the year for individuals; corporate citizen awards for small, medium and large companies; and three different nonprofit initiative awards. Individuals and organizations from Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas will participate.
