As we transition into the holiday season, one organization is mindful that Thanksgiving and Christmas can be difficult times for those dealing with loss and life changes.
Playback Memphis is offering a diversion from the holidays by focusing on specific topics through a unique form of the arts. The group of orators and performing artists use a combination of improvisational theater, personal narrative and community dialogue to connect with attendees.
The next performance, “Memphis Matters,” will kick off December 1-2 at First Congregational Church to remind us what a great heart our city has. Buy tickets here and here.
