Cooper-Young Neighborhood Hosts Half Pints for Half Pints

by Michael Polzella

On Saturday, February 25, Cooper-Young businesses and organizations will team up to host Half Pints for Half Pints, a fundraiser that supports arts and technology programming at the neighborhood’s Peabody Elementary School.

The event will take place at Memphis Made Brewing Company’s Tap Room, site of the iconic “I Love Memphis” mural. Partygoers can indulge in craft beer and tasty food from neighborhood restaurants such as Aldo’s, Mulan and Celtic Crossing.

The party will also include tunes by DJ Zac Ives of Goner Records and a silent auction featuring items from local businesses. Peabody Elementary’s PTA will receive proceeds.
