Playhouse on the Square presents thought-provoking production in season opener

by The 100 Companies

“Days of Rage” by Steven Levenson will open Playhouse on the Square’s 53rd main stage season Aug. 20-Sept. 19.

Set in 1969 during the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights Movement, the play focuses on youth, rebellion, outrage, war and the inability to see when parts of revolution and activism should begin, and when they end.

“Days of Rage” is an intimate snapshot into a world from 50 years ago — but not too terribly different from the world we live in now. This play about empathy meeting cynicism wonders which path they’ll take?

Tickets available now.

– Courtney Oliver, Playhouse on the Square Director
