Levitt Shell hosts 50 concerts each year, with performances by national and international touring acts. You will not want to miss these artists playing at the Shell’s concert series this summer in Overton Park:
• Revel in Dimes, May 31: A Brooklyn-based roots quartet with a sound strongly rooted in hill-country blues.
• The Commonheart, June 7: Eccentric frontman Clinton Clegg and his band will knock your socks off with their emotional, soulful grooves.
• Ekpe & The African Jazz Ensemble, June 22: Ten-piece band of local musicians. Members have toured with the likes of Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton and others.
