Take your art with a splash of soul when the Urban Art Commission hosts the Bring Your Soul Block Party outside of its new Crosstown offices on April 26.
From 4-8PM, rock on the block with live music and spoken word performances. Peruse new installations from five Memphis artists – Kendall Crouther, Suzy Hendrix, Felicia Wheeler, Pam McDonnell and Coriana Close – and enjoy additional artisans and vendors. Kick it old school with break-dancing performances and become a do-gooder with Volunteer Odyssey.
Tapbox will cover beer and wine, and on-site food trucks will have a variety of snacks.
