New board unfolds to be a kayak and paddle board. Was it worth the wait?

When we saw the Kickstarter campaign for a combo kayak and paddle board, we ordered two. One year and 45 updates later, our first one arrived.

We hauled it up to Lake James in North Carolina, eager to test it out. Assembly was easy and the seat was comfortable for kayaking, although you will get wetter with this sit-on-top type of kayak as opposed to others that are sit-inside. It will take a bit more practice to figure out the best footing when using it as a paddle board.

It’s a perfect gift for a kayak or paddle board enthusiast.
