Local Store Focuses On Sensory Play For Children with Autism

by

April is National Autism Awareness Month.

Justin Gibbs is a former special education assistant who decided, at age 23, to pursue a career helping children with autism. Justin and Jeremy Whitley began supplying sensory products online four years ago. Last year, they opened a physical location. Now, customers can experience using the products before purchasing.

Theirs is the first sensory-integration store of its kind in Tennessee. In this unique environment, parents can shop while children play in a judgment-free environment that meets their sensory needs. Visit Sensory World Memphis Monday-Saturday at 2965 N. Germantown Road Suite 107.
